“ This turned out to be an amazing stay. Food - Breakfast was delicious, evening meal had a lovely atmosphere and the food was almost perfect (my partner’s steak was just slightly tough but didn’t detract from the enjoyment of the evening). Service - Couldn’t fault the service during our stay. Room - Beautiful little room, especially the bathroom, and a stunning view. The only bit of feedback I’d give is it could do with better lighting, especially above the mirror as it did feel quite dark on the dull day we stayed. There were some lovely touches like the speaker and Nespresso machine. Location - Absolutely no faults. It was like staying in a little slice of heaven. Overall, we were very pleased, would recommend to our friends and would stay again. ”

“ We called the Scunthorpe Mill for a last minute booking which they were able to help us with, managing an upgrade to the restaurant due to a cancellation. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant which is fantastic. The food was a great variety and excellently cooked. It was such a delight to find a pub/restaurant that doesn’t sell the bog standard food of so many other pubs. Beautiful setting next to the river, great decor and very welcoming. A must visit for any meal of the day. ”
